Cribbage Score Sheet

The combinations below are what you count in the show and the crib. Pegging during play uses the same pairs and runs, plus fifteens and thirty-ones as the count goes up.

The highest possible hand is 29: three fives and the jack of the fourth suit, with the matching five cut as the starter.
How cribbage scoring works
A deal of cribbage scores in three bursts. First comes the play, where players lay cards alternately and peg for fifteens, pairs, runs and the go. Then the show: the non-dealer counts their hand with the starter card, then the dealer counts theirs, then the dealer counts the crib. On a board, every one of those points is a peg move. On this sheet you just add each player's points for the deal and enter one number, and the running total takes care of itself. Order matters at the very end, because the first player to reach 121 wins on the spot, even in the middle of the play. That is why the non-dealer, who counts first, has a real edge when the score is close.

Cribbage scoring: common questions
Add up each player's points for the deal (pegging, their hand, and the crib if they dealt) and write one number per player per deal. This sheet does exactly that and keeps a running total, which is all a cribbage board is really doing with its pegs.
