Double deck pinochle meld values
Double deck uses 80 cards — ace, ten, king, queen and jack, four copies of each in every suit — so melds run all the way to quadruples. Total your meld from this table, then enter it on the sheet above.

Melds only count in the suit that ends up as trump, so a run is worth 15 in trump and nothing at all in a side suit. Queens and jacks are worth no trick points — only aces, tens and kings count when the cards hit the table.
How double deck pinochle scoring works
Four players sit in two partnerships and each receives twenty cards. Bidding opens at 50 and the winning bidder names trump, after which both teams lay down and total their meld. Play then decides the 50 trick points: one for every ace, ten and king captured, plus two for the final trick. The bidding team must reach its bid on meld and tricks combined — clear it and both numbers go on the score sheet, miss it and the whole hand evaporates while the bid comes straight off their total. The defenders bank whatever they earned either way. First partnership to 500 takes the game, and because a set can swing a hand by several hundred points, a team that looks buried is rarely out of it.

Double deck pinochle scoring: common questions
Fifty. The 80-card deck holds sixteen aces, sixteen tens and sixteen kings, each counting one point when you win it in a trick, and the team that takes the last trick gets two more. That is why this sheet asks for only one team's trick points and fills in the other — they always add up to 50, so if your hand does not, something was miscounted at the table.
