Boss Auto Detailing: A Mobile Detailing Studio That Sells Before It Arrives
A dark, photography-led site for a detailer who works in your driveway, built on priced packages instead of adjectives.

About the business
Boss Auto Detailing is a mobile detailing studio based in Vancouver, Washington. The van comes to the car rather than the other way around: driveways, office lots, wherever the vehicle sits. They cover Clark County in Washington and Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties over the river in Oregon, working from maintenance washes up to multi-stage paint correction and ceramic coating.
The challenge
Mobile detailing asks a stranger for an unusual amount of trust. You are handing someone a machine polisher and letting them work on your paint, on your own driveway, and careless work leaves damage that is both expensive and permanently visible. Most detailing sites answer that with adjectives. Premium. Meticulous. Passionate. And no prices anywhere. Boss needed the opposite: proof of the standard, plain numbers, and a site that makes the difference between a wash and a correction obvious to somebody who has never bought either.
The story
The design direction was settled before any of it was built. Detailing has a strong visual canon, dark and cinematic with the paintwork doing the talking, and we deliberately played that canon straight rather than reaching for something clever. The bar was set against the best detailing studios in the country rather than the competition down the road, and the whole site was judged against that.
The packages carry the site. Three tiers, each with a real starting price and an honest time range: maintenance from $169 over two to three hours, the signature detail from $349 across five to eight, and correction with ceramic coating from $1,159 over two to four days. The hours matter as much as the money. They tell a customer this is craft work measured in days, not a car wash with a markup on it.
Booking stayed deliberately plain. A request form and a phone number, no online calendar. That was the owner's call and it was the right one, because scheduling a mobile detail depends on the car, the weather and the driveway, and a booking widget that pretends otherwise just creates appointments nobody can keep.
What we built
- A dark, photography-led build where the paintwork carries every page
- Seven service pages, from interior detailing through paint correction to fleet work
- Three package tiers with starting prices and realistic time ranges stated on the page
- A page for each of the seven towns across the Washington and Oregon service area
- Before-and-after work that shows the correction rather than describing it
- Fifteen articles answering the questions that come before a booking
- A request form and click-to-call sized for one hand on a phone
How we promoted it
Mobile detailing competes on two fronts at once: people looking for a detailer near them right now, and people quietly researching whether a ceramic coating is worth the money. The content plan covers both.
- Service-area pages split across the state line, because Vancouver and Portland are one market but two search markets
- Articles aimed at the research questions: coating cost, correction stages, wax versus sealant
- Northwest-specific content, including the moss and green film that only matters in this climate
- Prices published on the page, which is what most detailing searches are actually hunting for
- Static rendering and compressed imagery, so a photo-heavy site still opens fast on mobile data
The outcome
What the new site does for them
We do not invent numbers. Here is what the site is built to do, honestly.
Thirty-eight pages live across services, packages, towns and advice
Every package priced and time-boxed on the page rather than hidden behind a quote form
Built to catch the near-me searcher and the coating researcher with the same site
One clear path to a request from every page
