why is my business not showing up on google
Why Isn't My Business Showing Up on Google?

Few things are more frustrating than searching for your own business and not finding it. The good news: there is almost always a clear reason, and it is fixable. Here are the usual culprits.
1. You do not have a Google Business Profile
This is the most common one. No profile means no map listing. Claim or create it first, as we explain in adding your business to Google Maps.
2. Your profile is unverified or incomplete
An unverified or half-filled profile barely shows up. Verify it and fill in every field: categories, services, hours, photos.
3. You are checking from far away
Google personalizes results by location. If you search from outside your service area, you may not see yourself even when local customers do. Try searching your trade plus your town.
4. Your site is new, slow, or thin
A brand-new site takes time to get indexed, and a slow or thin site struggles to rank. Clear pages, speed, and content all help, which ties into how Google ranks businesses.
5. Too much competition, not enough signals
In a busy area, you need more reviews, content, and consistency to climb. Google’s local ranking factors come down to relevance, distance, and prominence.
Not sure what is wrong? Send us your business and we will tell you exactly why you are not showing up.
